"POWER OF WILL"

Message from Founder Brent R. Webber (Ph.D. Student):

At an early age, I realized the power of diversity and the immense love and brotherhood that you can find living in the inner city. As a result, it helped me become drawn to the indigent and people that are often "forgotten" in some of these communities.

The March for Our Guns movement includes a fight against government corruption, police injustices, and the will of the lower class saying: "We will not be denied gun rights as oligarchs continue to look to take gun rights away from our inner cities and people that will need to protect themselves IF AND WHEN our government becomes so powerful to deny them continued rights to protect themselves."

I lived in NYC and realized quickly that the people that are ALLOWED to be issued licenses for pistol permits generally HAVE MONEY (And are affluent).

The reason we see some gun violence in inner cities is because of injustices that some of our people have faced. If you take their gun rights away, you further diminish their attempt to fight the power (Public Enemy). Keep that in mind next time YOU vote FOR gun laws.

(Yes, some of the lyrics below are controversial, but rap has become a powerful form of expression in America (Freedom of Speech 101) to express feelings that are often suppressed. I do not condone violence or continued vulgar language unless it sends a positve message.......... and this SONG below sends a message that relates to why I pulled together this March for Our Guns movement. It is about justice and equality FOR ALL:

"For those of you that wanna know what we're all about........
It's like this, all about y'all.............

Put it together himself, now the picture connects........
His will is beyond reach...............

And now it all unfolds, the skill of an artist..............

He's not your everyday on the block..........
He knows how to work with what he's got.............
Making his way to the top........

This is ten percent luck, Twenty Percent Skill......

Fifteen Percent Concentrated Power of Will..........
Five percent pleasure, fifty percent pain..........
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name.."
